Equipped with the tools of PyTorch, Django and Mediapipe, our team developed and trained an AI with our own dataset to create a neural network that recognizes and transcribes the American Sign Language. The web app works with WebRTC to stream the webcam feed to the django backend running the PyTorch trained model.
